Violets for August


Four violet blocks from me so far.  I really enjoyed making these so hopefully will do some more.  I was really pleased with the way the directional fabric violet turned out as I had half expected to have to reject this one.

I have also been playing around with the blocks I won in June and so far like this arrangement, alternating the blocks each row.

This is not a very good photo, the colours look really good and my daughter and I had great fun moving blocks around to keep the values separate.  Once it is stitched, I plan to back it with fleece and donate it as a Linus Quilt.

    I had to do a bit of research to figure out WHICH PAT ... but your blocks are now on the list. (Please give me more of a clue next time :-)
