Fourteen for donating

Sorry to have missed last month but....(drum roll)...we got a COW!  She is lovely & I milk her twice a day & the milk is lovely & the yogurt is lovely & my new ice cream maker arrived today & I am sure to love that too!  Mostly it is great but the next time I hear anyone complain about the cost of milk well...getting it out of the cow it is harder work than you might think.

While waiting (for the ice cream maker to arrive & the yogurt to yogurt) I made14 blocks.  They worked up so fast!  Please put these in as donated.

  1. Lovely blocks! I love cows and miss having my livestock. You may just inspire me.

  3. Funny you should bring up cows...,we have an extra one in the pen this morning! No one around here has animals, so we are perplexed. Called the police and no one has reported a missing cow..well she's a yearling actually. She can stay with our cows till someone claims her...hopefully it will be the true owners and not someone wanting to fill their freezer for free!

  4. What wonderful stories! We had two dogs in the states, rescued lab mixes, that often made you think we had cows. We are actually in a milk shortage here. I can only buy it by the quart and what we drink comes from Australia so it often only has a day or two before it expires. We just have not adapted to Kowloon Cows. ;)
